I haven't watched this movie in about 2 yrs. It brings to mind so many things - art, love, music, good friends, wine, a cosmopolitan city and being a young Black intellectual. I had forgotten how much I love it, and how great I feel* when I watch it (with one exception, see below).

So we ended up going to IHOP. He doesn't know it, but he will always be the prototype. Tall, brown skin, curly hair, nice teeth (even with the gap)...
